Gone home to Scotland

It is with great sadness that I must announce the passing of my sister, Mary Duncan. After a long fight with multiple myeloma, Mary succumbed on August 5th. She was in no pain when she finally left us, and that is my only consolation. Mary's husband, Dan, passed two months before her, and now they are together in the afterlife, roaming the hills and mountains of Scotland.

Her books will still be available on Amazon.com. I have toyed with the notion of trying to finish the sequel to Despite Them, but I'm not sure I have it in me to do that, at least not for a while. I guess like everything else, it will take time if I do attempt it. I'm not sure I could do it justice but who knows, maybe Mary herself will inspire me somehow.
