Spring Tune-Up

I just got out of the hospital for my spring tune-up, fluid level change and all around maintenance on this old body. Just like a fine automobile (I like to think of myself as a late 50's Jag or Corvette), some kind of loving conditioning must be performed or things won't run correctly. 'Course, things haven't run correctly for some time, so a little extra must be done to get me back up to par. I'm getting there slowly but surely. I will be starting another round of chemo for my leukemia to keep it at bay. Not really looking forward to it, but the consequences are worse than not doing it all.

Thanks for all your prayers, cards and phone calls.

As for my writing, it's slow. Some days it's too much to get to my computer, but I'm always thinking about it. Now that Despite Them has been out for a few months, I would love to get some reviews from you all. This can be posted on Amazon or Barnes and Noble via the following links.

Around town, the snow is all but gone and the grass is waking from its winter slumber. Daffodils are poking up from the earth and the treats of warm days are scented with the soil I long to get my hands into. Happy Spring!

I'm glad you've had your tune up but not glad at all you're going through. I will continue to send good and healing vibes your way! I posted my B&N review since I had already done the Amazon review. xoxoxoxox

I'm determined to beat this thing, so going through it will only make me stronger. At least that's my way of getting it done. I've got too much to do yet to give in now.

Thanks for your review. As always, my friend, I can count on you to spread the word! Love you!
