It's been a long time since I've physically been able to write a blog. Some of you know of my predicament, but many do not.
I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma - a lesser known type of leukemia. It caused a compression fracture in my back, which lead to a broken hip and congestive heart failure.
I was in the hospital for seven weeks fighting this and have finally come home to recuperate. There is a long road ahead, but with so many supporting me, I'm getting stronger everyday.
As for Despite Them, it's still searching for a publisher, and as I get stronger, I'll continue writing on the second Macgregor adventure.

We're all pulling for you girlfriend and I mean it when I say if there's any possible thing I can do to help just say the word. The road is long but just remember you aren't traveling alone. Keep your eye on the prize, it's coming your way! Feel better soon. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox
Mary, I was so sorry to read of your recent illness. Good health is a wonderful gift and I am so happy to hear that you are now on the road to recoveyr. I suffered congestive heart failure during the delivery of our first son 13 years ago on May 18. My recovery has been called amazing because of great medical care and the good health prior to the CHF. The wonder drug that has helped my heart function near a normal range is coreg. No doubt you are getting great care...but just wanted to pass along my own treatment that has made my life so much more enjoyable and manageable even living at 5,000 ft. All the best in your recovery....and will keep you in my prayers...what I have learned living with CHF...be patience with yourself and enjoy each day! God bless. Take care, Terry
Mary...

Bobbie
